Josie Liming graduated from Ball State University with a degree in photojournalism. Since then she has worked for the Birmingham News, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Abilene Reporter News and the Bellingham Herald. She also lived and worked in China where she documented the lives of an ethnic minority to raise funds for their cultural preservation. Josie’s work has appeared in The Washington Post, USA Today, The Seattle Times, Texas Monthly, Women of China Magazine and a variety of other publications. She has received awards from the William Randolph Hearst Foundation, the National Press Photographers Association and the Wedding Photojournalists Association.

Josie is a freelance photojournalist currently living in Seattle, Washington. She is available for documentary work including editorial, commercial, sports and wedding photography. She has freelanced for U.S., Canadian and Chinese publications and is available for assignments in the Pacific Northwest and worldwide.
